Soon as I saw that in the thumbnail I said "hey, I know that work" I thought someone was passing off your stuff as theirs, nice to see I was wrong.

This is what the Japanese version of a Batman inspired Spider-man would carry. :D

actually this thing would a real nasty surprise weapon, far more lethal than a shuriken, but also larger & therefore harder to conceal. shurkens are only used for distractions anyway. they where mostly to help ninjas make a getaway if the got busted during a mission. they'd throw the things mostly at limbs & major joints to disable (not to kill, although we all know what the price of failure was in japan, chop!), persuers. this little bugger is so elegant you coulde easily conceal it as a piece of decoration on armour or a fancy outfit. just imagine if this bastard was poisoned too!

I'd question the effectiveness in real combat, but the look is purely badass.

If I give you a hug and a cookie, will you teach me to use these throwing spiders? In the name of Lolth?

The amber cabochons are for first draw. To Give you something to grip when pulling the spider from a pouch or sheath. From there they trow like a star or chakram. The reason for the cabochons on both sides is unlike a star these are full blades not just points. They are sharp edges and they bite. For full potency repeat the following phase while drawing the spider. "IN Lolth's blood I hold my courage, IN Lolth's venom I hold my vengance, IN Lolth's name I will hold your heart in my hand."

I prefer my cookies chocolate chip and my hugs long.
