I can totally see a Drow Elf using this to eat with in the deep unlit tunnels and caverns of the Underdark. Not only is it a useful eating utensil but it could make a handy weapon if nothing else is within reach, not that a drow wouldn't have a real weapon on his/her person at all times.

I keep all the small pieces of scrap from the stuff I intend to design and wind up just going with the scrap and following through with whatever the scrap piece leads me to.
